IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
IELTS is the world’s most widely used academic English test, trusted for university admissions, professional registration, and migration—especially to the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. If you’re aiming for study, work, or immigration in those destinations, IELTS often sits at the center of the requirements.
What happens on test day?
Listening, Reading, and Writing are taken the same day with no breaks; your Speaking interview is either the same day or up to a week before/after, depending on local scheduling. Bring your valid ID, arrive early for check-in and security, and expect phones/watches to be stored away for the duration. Water is usually allowed only in a clear, label-free bottle.
Test format (total time ≈ 2h45m)
Listening (~30 min), Reading (60 min), Writing (60 min), Speaking (11–14 min). Academic vs. General Training differ in Reading/Writing content; Listening/Speaking are the same.
